Queen Mother Tribute

At 11.30am on 9th April 2002, all the children and staff assembled to observe the national two minutes silence to mark the passing of the Queen Mother.

In the afternoon Y6 paid their own tribute by creating a large portrait of the Queen Mum in chalk on the school playground. They divided a picture into 36 squares and each drew a square on a large grid on the playground.
