Tree Planting

Many thanks to the parents who gave up their time to come into school to plants some trees near to the childrens' playgrounds.
During our last Ofsted inspection it was recommended by the Inspection team that an area for environmental study be created (Wetlands) and additional trees be planted to provide shaded areas for the children to enjoy in summer. These issues have now been met and the beauty of it is that it hasn't cost the school anything financially. By meetings, inquiries and phone calls the cost of the projects have been met by various grants.
So again thanks to those who donned their wellies and dug deep to provide the school with this valuable resource. (Click on the image below to open another window with a larger picture.)
