Cross country team runs away with Trophy
Our cross country teams had an extremely successful day at the Ilkeston and District Cross country event held at West Hallam on 10th May 2000.
The boys team managed to win their competition with some fine individual and team performances. Five members of the squad finished in the top ten and all of the team performed to the best of their ability.
It was a similar story with the girls' team. Determined running resulted in our team finishing second behind the host school Scargill.
All who took part really enjoyed themselves and were particulary pleased that so many parents and friends turned out to cheer them on.
